Sharing the Love
Nestled on 8 acres overlooking beautiful rolling hills and green pastures, New Creation Ministries is positioned perfectly to, “Share the love.”
Said another way, God has blessed us with the gift of land and space and we feel called to share it with the Tri-State area.
As a result, we host a wide variety of youth and community events on a regular basis.
From middle/high school gatherings, to weekly Bible studies, our annual fall festival, upcoming nights of worship and more…
Our call is clear: To open our hearts and share the love of Christ using the blessings of this acreage He has entrusted us with.
We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.
Youth Events
Upon deciding to renovate our old pig barns in the fall of 2020, we decided to simply call our new space, The Barn. While it will be utilized for a church plant on Sunday mornings, we also decided to double the size of the space we renovated in order to create a space for the community, especially the youth in our area, to gather as well.
Our goal is actually very simple: To provide a safe atmosphere for youth of all different ages, from all different walks of life—regardless of whatever church building they attend on Sundays—so they can experience the love of Christ and learn how to become strong leaders with a kingdom mindset…while enjoying our acreage in the process.
With this in mind, we recently started up a “Middle School Night at The Barn” monthly on Saturday evenings. These events are geared towards having kids come enjoy fellowship, food, games and leadership-building activities in a Christian environment. We have also hosted several events over the past year with high school youth from the local FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). This has included a Super Bowl party, nights of worship in The Barn and several outreach opportunities that involved encouraging them to give back by volunteering with us at the Faith Temple Food Giveaway followed by bowling, and/or food and games hosted on our acreage.
Community Events
For the past 5 years, we have held an annual fall festival inviting anyone and everyone from the Tri-State area to come and enjoy food, games, fellowship and pumpkins grown on our acreage. Our newly renovated barns are also home to a Monday Night Women’s Bible Study that is comprised of ladies from several different area churches.
Future ideas include hosting nights of worship (both indoors/outdoors), day camps utilizing our 8 acres and the 140 surrounding us that lead down to the Beaver Creek….and more. In whatever ways we can, our hearts are to simply use this acreage He has “planted” us on in order to humbly serve this community we have come to love.
